2019 Mongolian Camel Journey

Bookings open in May 2019

Mongolia Camel Journey

Join our team where we will go with experienced adventurer Tamar and visit her eagle-hunters friends in the Altai, and buy 8 untamed bactrian (two humped) camels!

We will train the camels using our Camel Connection Trust Based Camel Training® , hand in hand, with the local Mongolian Nomads.

Then we will gift the camels local nomads, to Tamar’s familiar friend Dalaikhan in the local Altai village, to help utilise the camels for wool, milk and transport, which ultimately will support their local economy.

This is the best and most sustainable way to travel:

Learn, Give, Explore & Connect.

This project encourages the locals to witness camel training & handling without the use of nose-pegs which are traditionally used have have been for centuries.

We can’t wait to do this with you!
