Eastern mongolia wildlife tour
Come discover the landscape and wildlife of remote eastern mongolia. Your wildernis guide Tamar and local wildlife experts will guide you in the search for some of mongolias most amazing wildlife, including diverse birdlife, the notorious argali sheep, ibex goats and herds of the unique mongolian gazelle grazing the abundant eastern grasslands.
October is the time for changing colours, wildflowers, berries and the great swan migrations. Thousands of them will be flying over on their way to warmer grounds. Our local guides speak good english and are experienced wildlife experts, specialized in birds. Dont forget to bring your binoculars!
We will get a chance to go fishing in Mongolia’s pristine rivers, visit Chingghis Kahns birthplace and stay and help out at two different bird sanctuary and ringing stations. Our skilled drivers will introduce us to the nomadic culture and bring us to the wildlife hotspots where we can explore on foot and end the days by sleeping anywhere we want under the star filled skies. An adventure packed with breathtaking landscapes and unique flora and fauna in a land where most of the people still live like they used to do in the heydays of Chingghis Kahn. Don’t miss out on this opportunity!
